Modern Language Notes Managing Editor
We are seeking a Modern Language Notes Managing Editor who will be responsible for the daily management of all five issues of MLN over the entire year. Meeting with different editors and visiting campus as needed will also fall under the purview of this role.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceiving and logging submissions.Triaging and sharing submissions with appropriate faculty board members for initial consideration.Communicating first-round rejections with authors.Sending articles out for blind review.Communicating with reviewers.Sharing feedback with authors and the editorial board.Proofreading and copy-editing articles and communicating with authors throughout the copy-editin
